Would you say econometrics deals with statistics or math applications the most, is it difficult?

I will be taking Introduction to Econometrics next semester and I was just wondering what to expect. Thank you.

1. At that level, it is very much theory and involves very little math. At higher (graduate) levels, however, it tends to be very math intensive. Probably, it focuses on Math applications, however many economists do quite a few correlative studies.
